Mortal Kombat X: New Infos at Gamescom 2014

Mortal Kombat X Creator Ed Boon revealed today that we will get new Infos about Mortal Kombat X at this years Gamescom. What this Infos could be is unclear but we could get a Release Date and a new Trailer of the Introduction of the Story or a Announcement of an Character at this years Gamescom.

Rumor: Watch Dogs Sequel Survey send to selected UPlay Members

Watch Dogs

Ubisoft could started the work on a Watch Dogs Sequel according to an Email which was send from Ubisoft to a Uplay Member. The UPlay Member has saved the Email as a Screenshot and uploaded it on Reddit. The Email invited the Member to a Survey in which he can write wishes and ideas for a Sequel of Watch Dogs.

Ubisofts senior vice president Tony Key told Gamespot.com at this years E3 that Watch Dogs is now a Franchise and that Watch Dogs Sequels are coming in the following years for sure.

Watch Dogs came out this May in US and Europe for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox360 with a WiiU Version to follow on Fall 2014.

This isnt offical yet so take this with a grain of salt.

Rogue Legacy arrives today in US and tommorow in US on PS4/PS3/PSV Plus launch trailer

The Rogue-Lite Indie Game Rouge Legacy arrives today in the Playstation Network Store in the US and tommorow in Europe.

The developer behind Rogue Legacy CellarDoorGames has announced that Rogue Legacy will feature Cross-Buy so if you buy one Version of the Game you get all three Versions of Rouge Legacy and it will feature Cross-Save what means that youre saving progress will be uploaded in the cloud and if you play it on another Playstation Device you can load the progress out of the cloud and play it on youre actual Device.

The Game will cost 16.99$ normal and 13.59$ for Playstation Plus Members in the US and 12.99€/9.99GBP normal 10.49€/7.99GBP for Playstation Plus Members

Special: DLC's One are Garbage!!

"Downloadble Contents (DLC's) are only beeing developed because Publishers want to earn more money for their Games". This sentence or something like this is said by many Gamers around the World. But are DLC's really only there because Publishers and Developers want to earn extra money?


Day One DLC's: Day-One DLC's are beeing sold on the day the Launch of the Game is arrived. Those DLC's can be Extra Costumes, Weapons, Levels etc or addiotional Specials for the Gamer like EXP Bonus.

Some of you think that those DLC's should be on the Disc when the Game launches. Right? but this isnt easy as you think. For showing you why im saying this im going to show you a graphic of Mass Effect 3 Production by Steve Melton

Day One DLC Developing Timeline

As you can see in the Graphic the development of Day One DLC's are coming in Pre-Production and Production after the full Game left Pre-Production and Production. So the Problem here is that after the Core-Game has left  Production its going to be in the testing Part (Alpha, Beta etc). At this Part there are testers who look for Problems at the Game. Even the Disc-Production is in this Testing Part so it isnt possible anymore to build in any Data on the Disc.

The Day One DLC is going to be produced after the Core-Game has left the Production and the Testing Part of this DLC is much shorter then the Core-Game itself because you dont have to produce Disc's for the DLC and the lenght of the Day One DLC is much shorter so the Testers need much less time to find Bugs, Freezes etc. In the Time the Core-Game is beeing send to Retailers and Online-Shops the Team can full concentrate on the Day One DLC or if it is going planed on the Post-DLC (I will talk about this on another Post).

The full Team are now working on the Day One DLC and try to fix all Bugs and try to polish the DLC as much as they can. After this they are sending the DLC Data to their Partners (PSN, Xbox Marketplace, Steam etc.) and they can upload it exactly at the Launch Day of the Core-Game because the DLC needs just a few Minutes/Hours to get uploaded.

The Day-One DLC can't be on Disc if the Core-Game has to been send to the Retailers in Launch Time. Because the Core-Game itself needs time to get certified and send to the Retailers need much time too.

Ok now i want to answer you the Question from the beggining about what i think about Day One DLC's:

I personally respect the hard work by developers who work on Day One DLC's and if i like the Core-Game i will buy the Day One DLC. And i think all Gamers around the World should respect the work on developing a Day One DLC especially when they give you much content like extra Levels (Ubisoft is developing extra Levels on much of their Games). If the Day One DLC is a Horse, Weapon or anything small like that and is beeing sold for more then 1$ then it isnt worth the money!

Gamescom 2014 Press Conferences: Times, Where to watch and what to expect

With Gamescom 2014 just a little more then 2 weeks away i want to make a Gamescom Press Conference Special Post. Here i will inform you when the Conferences will start, where you can watch them and what you can expect from them.

Microsoft: Microsoft will have a Press Conference this Year. The Press Conference will start at 2PM CEST in Cologne, Germany.

Where to watch: Official Xbox Site If they are preparing a special Gamescom Page at their Site i will do a link here so you can watch it live from their Page. You can also watch it from youre Windows Mobile Phone and on Xbox Live and Xbox's Twitch Channel.

You can expect from Microsoft: Halo 5 footage, Sunset Overdrive, Ori and the blind Forest, New Infos about Killer Instinct Season 2, Call of Duty Adwanced Warfighter Multiplayer Reveal, Evolve third Monster Reveal, Exclusive DLC for the Devision and Indies Plus some surprises.

Ubisoft: Ubisoft didnt have announce their Press Conference Time yet

Sony: Sony is holding its Press Conference at 7PM CEST in the Staatenhaus Building, Cologne. They are going to be the last for August 12th 2014. The only following is EA at the next day.

EA: EA is holding a other kind of Press Conference at this years Gamescom. EA is showing their Games on their own Booth with a livestream inclusive. The "Preview" will start at 10am CEST on August 13th 2014.

What to expect from EA: You can expect Battlefield Hardline, Dragon Age Inquisition, Sims 4 and EA Sports Games for sure. I got a feeling Bioware will present Mass Effect (4) too with a new Teaser and will reveal their newest Project.

Assassins Creed Rogue for PS3 and Xbox360 listed by Swiss Retailer: Update 2

Update 2: Revealdate and name is legit (Plus Reveal Date on August 4/5th 2014)

Like i told you in the first Update i wrote a Mail to the Retailer and i got a conformation about the Game itself, which Studio is developing Assassins Creed Rogue and the Reveal Date of Assassins Creed Rogue (in past Rumors called Assassins Creed Comet)

Ok the Retailer had write me following Infos:
 

"Hello

We have to shut down the Product Page because Ubisoft Montreal (are they developing Assassins Creed Comet?) because they said the Game hasnt been officially announced yet. The Game is going to be revealed on 4/5th August 2014 (before Gamescom) after this we will take the Product Page online again."

Beware this is a Rumor! But other Retailers have listed unannounced Games in the past too so there is a big chance that this is true. Especially the Reveal Date is interesting i think because this would mean Ubisoft would reveal the Games before Gamescom and they could concentrate on Assassins Creed Unity!

The Product Page said the Game is called Assassins Creed Rogue and comes out on PS3 and Xbox360 (no WiiU?) on August 28th 2014. This is the same Date Assassins Creed Unity will arrive in Europe.

Update

It looks like the Retailer has shut down the Assassins Creed Rogue Page. I've send the Retailer an Email for telling me and you why he did do this.

The Page says: " The Product you're searching doesnt exist anymore. It could be that we deactivate or delete the Page. We're sorry for the Trouble." 

The corious thing for me is if i search a game that doesnt exist the Page says following sentences to me: "We didnt found any Game that matched what you're Criterions."

I will update you at the Moment i get a answer from the Retailer.

Assassins Creed Unity

 The Swiss Retailer WOG.ch has a new Game listed for PS3 and Xbox360: Assassins Creed Rogue. There was a Rumor about a Assassins Creed for Last Gen Consoles for long. Assassins Comet was the Project named. The Rumors says it will play in the Time Period from Assassins Creed 3 but on another Place in America. Another Rumor said it would play in the Rome Time Period and there was even a Concept Character Picture


The Rumor came in the same Time Assassins Creed Unity got leaked trough Gameplay Screenshots. Shortly after this Leak Ubisoft announced Assassins Creed Unity with a CGI Trailer and at this years E3 they had present Assassins Creed Unity on their big Show.

If the Assassins Creed Rogue leak is true, we should get a announcement soon. Maybe on Gamescom which takes place from August the 13th to August the 17th 2014 with Ubisofts Press Conference one day before the doors open so it should be on August the 12th 2014.

Gamescom festival Preparation starts (Pictures included)

When i walked today trough the Center of Cologne i've seen something very special to me at the Place where the Gamescom Festival will take place at. The Gamescom Festival is a big Festival which takes place after the Doors closes at Gamescom. The Festival will take place on August 15th, August 16th and August 17th (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and brings you Games (I have driven Gran Turismo 5 in 5 meter Height on a Carousel at this Festival in 2012. It will also feature Live Music Gigs, Skateboard Shows and more.

This week i started my Blog with a Itroduction and first i want to say thank you for reading News, watching Gameplay and share my Blog trough the Web.

I will summary the 5 most important News this week on my Blog.

Lords of the Fallen Comic Con Trailer and Gameplay: On Wendesday CI-Games and Bandai Namco released a new Trailer for their upcoming Game Lords of the Fallen. Today we got a new Gameplay Video from the Game and it looks awesome for me even if its a Off-Screen Video it looks great and we got a Glimpse from the Games Bosses.
 
New Trailer for Alien Isolation: Yesterday Sega released a new Trailer for their upcoming Survial-Horror Game Alien Isolation. The Trailer features some old Footage and some New Footage. I think we didnt see the HUD yet so this is nice so see. The Graphics looks great to me and the Horror aspect when you see the Alien in the Trailer is very intense.

Evolves new Monster teased (Rumor): On Wendesday the official Xbox Twitter Account tweeted a Art Picture from the upcoming 2K Game Evolve.The Tweet features a Picture of a man who stands in front of a giant Spider look like Monster. Evolve will feature 3 Monsters at Launch: The Goliath, the Kraken and a not yet revealed one. So is this the new Monster?

Driveclub Beta announcement incoming (Rumor): On Thursday Chris Owen the official Community Manager at SCEE tweeted about Big Plans for Driveclub at this years Gamescom. He deleted the Tweet afterwards for some reasons we dont know. There was Rumors before that we will get a Beta for Driveclub before the Launch of the Game. So is a announcement incoming?
 
Bioware shares new Infos about the upcoming Mass Effect Game: At this weeks San Diego Comic Con Bioware had share some new Infos about the upcoming Mass Effect Game.

New Gameplay for Lords of the Fallen from Comic-Con

 

The Youtube User Game Trailer Screenshots uploaded a Gameplay from the upcoming Game Lords of the Fallen from the german development Studio CI Games (played on PS4) directly from San Diego Comic Con.

The Video features new Enemies, a First look at the Interface and awesome light- and Particle Effects. Plus a Bossfight against the Infiltrator at the end of the Gameplay.

For me the Framerate looks fluid and the Gameplay looks difficult but less difficult then Dark/Demon Souls from From Software.

The Gameplay is Pre-Beta so this isnt the final Product and the Game could get changes trough the Development.

Bioware shares new Information about the next Installment of the Mass Effect Franchise

At this weeks San Diego Comic Con Bioware had share some new Infos about the upcoming Mass Effect Game.

The most important Info first. Old known Characters from past Games of the Franchise "could" return in the next Mass Effect. So there is a possibility to see your favourite Character having a Comeback in the new Game in some kind.

The next Big thing is that the Mako is celebrating a Comeback so you can drive on your Mako trough the Landscape of the Planets you will travel via youre spaceship.

They also shown some unique Armors you can get and wear.

The new Mass Effect Game is more focused on exploration Planets and the Space. Thats why Bioware is bringing the Mako back. It gives you the option to travel fast accross the Planet and look for Resources or new Weapons.

Bioware didnt give any Release Window yet so stay tuned for more Infos at upcoming Events like Gamescom, VGA/VGX or the next E3.

Hey today i want to talk a little bit about Gamescom 2014 and what you should know about it.

Gamescom 2014 is Europe biggest Videogame Convention and takes place in Cologne, Germany from August the 13th to August 17th 2014. The Press Conferences will take place at August the 12th 2014 one day before the Show Floor opens for the Press and 2 days before the Show Floor opens for the Public.

The Press Conferences will be all livestreamed but i will talk on another day about this and what to expect at those conferences plus i will give you information about the livestreams and where to watch them.

Today i want to give you some informations where to stay in cologne if you want to visit Gamescom this year and where to preorder/buy passes for entry Gamescom plus i will give you some nice Points and Signs you should visit in Cologne if you're here.

First of all. If you dont live in Germany this Trip could cost you much money but if you dont shy it and want a One-Time feeling to play Bloodborne for example then here are some tips.

Travel to Cologne: 

If you live in Europe/US you can fly via youre favourite Airline to Cologne/Bonn Airport and take the Train (S12 to Düren/ S13 to Düren) which drives you directy to Köln Messe Deutz. At Deutz you have to leave the train and from there you should see the convention center directly.

If you live in Europe you can look if a ICE Train drives near your home to Cologne you can take the ICE and drive directly to Köln Messe Deutz.

Preorder/Buy Tickets for Gamescom:

The best and easiest way is preorder tickets from Gamescom Ticket Shop. If you want to buy Entry Cards at the Convention Center then you can buy the tickets at the Info Stations in the Convention Center. But be aware the Cards are limited so First Come First Serve.

Hotels/Appartments

If you want to stay in Cologne more then one night then you should watch for Hotels on the Internet. Here is a nice Site which let you choose from many Hotels. Hotels in Cologne

For me personally i like to stay in a Appartment if i travel in another country. You will have the feeling to live in Appartment and its more personally then a Hotel. A great Site to look for Appartments is Airbnb. They are very cheap and there are really nice Appartments. I had book one for Amsterdam in March and it was a better Appartment then mine in Cologne.

Places you should visit:

The most important Places to visit in my oppinion are the Cathedral of Cologne, if you want to make Party at night you should visit Nachtflug, Diamonds or Crystal those are the biggest Clubs in Cologne. If you want to eat something you have big Options here because in Cologne City there are much restaurants, Bars or Fast-Food Shops. You can drink some Beer also if you want.

Special Gamescom Event after Gamescom Doors closes:

When the Doors of Gamescom closes at 8pm you will get the Option to do sightseeing, party in Clubs OR visit the Gamescom Event in the central of the City. At this Event there are musicans, you can play older Games outdoor, watch big Skateboarders skate or just have fun with some friends and drink a drink. Its a very big event and there should be alot of people like the years before.

New Gameplay Trailer for Alien Isolation released

At this weeks San Diego Comic Con Sega revealed a new Trailer for its upcoming Survival-Horror Game Alien Isolation.

The Trailer features some old Footage and some New Footage. I think we didnt see the HUD yet so this is nice so see. The Graphics looks great to me and the Horror aspect when you see the Alien in the Trailer is very intense.

It looks like this is the PS4 Version but it could be the PC Version played with a Playstation Controller also.

The Game will arrive on October the 7th in the US and Europe.

New Table for Zen Pinball 2 announced: Guardians of the Galaxy

If you're a Pinball fan and got a Playstation 4, Playstation 3 or Playstation Vita then this news could be nice for you.
  
Zen Studios announced today that they are working on an Guardians of the Galaxy Table for their Pinball Game Zen Pinball 2. The Table will be coming out this Tuesday in the US and this Wendesday in Europe.

The Table features all Guardians of the Galaxy who will battle Ronan the Accuser. The Table looks great for me and for me personally its great news because im a big Marvel Fan and play Zen Pinball alot on my PS4.

The Table will cost 2.99$ in the US and 2.99€/2.49£ in Great Britain.

The upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Movie which got great Reviews from different Movie-Sites will start at 31.07.2014 in Great Britain, August the 1st in US and August the 28th in the Rest of Europe.

Top 5 of my Most Wanted Games to be revealed at Gamescom 2014

Gamescom is just 3 weeks away and the Hype is rising on the Internet. There are Leaks, Rumors or announced Games to be Revealed at Gamescom.

Today i want to show you my Top 5 Most Wanted Games to be revealed at Gamescom 2014.

Before i start i want to ask you too: what Games do you want to be revealed? Comment in the Comment Section.

5. Prince of Persia Next Gen

When i got my first Prince of Persia in 2003 with Prince of Persia Sands of Time i was fall in love with it. The new Gameplay by using walls to run at and the fluid Controls with my PS2 Controller was an amazing Feeling and i got a Feedback every Time i jumped, attacked an enemy or had run accross walls. Sands of Time was very difficulty because of the perfect jumps you had to do to avoid the Traps of the Kingdom. It was using more skill-based Jumps and attacks then its spiritual son Assassins Creed.

4. Outlast 2

When i played Outlast the first Time this year trough the Playstation Plus Membership i felt like it was something very special in todays Gamebuisness. The Game features no weapons, an very interesting Story and one of the most scary Atmosphere that i played on. I played the DLC also and it had been featuring some new Storyideas and an damn hard Brainfuck but in my oppinion it was not so scary like the full Game. I hope we will get entry to a new Building in Outlast 2, a better KI for the enemies and if they can implement it i would love to see a more scary crazy people.

 

3. The last Guardian

I really dont know why but im always hyped for a The Last Guardian Reveal at every Event. The last Guardian had 2 amazing Trailers which i could watch today and i would be still amazed by this Game. The beautiful animated Animal and the little Boy who fits perfect as a teampartner and the Fact that Team Ico is developing this is feeding my Hype also. The possibility is always starting a few weeks before E3, Gamescom, TGS.

 

2. Crash Bandicoot Comeback

The most iconic Character in the Playstation History is coming Back. This sentence would make me cry. Crash Bandicoot was for when it came out the best 3D JumpNRun. The Naughty Dog developed Games was amazing designed, funny and easy to play but hard to learn. If Sony will buy the Franchise back and let a First Party Studio (Studio Bend, Japan Studios or Media Molecule) develop a Remastered Version of the first Trilogy or do a Sequel i would flip out and could'nt sleep this night. Ok Sony DO IT!

1. God of War 3 Remastered or a Sequel

The God of War Series is since its beginning my favourite Series of all time (excluding GoW Ascencion) so i had to bring it in this list. The amazing Bossbattles, the Epic Soundtrack and the Voice of Kratos is always giving me a bad touch. Even if it isnt a direct Sequel and taking place as a new Man in a new Mythology i would love it. i hope Sony Santa Monica is working on this so i know that it is in good hands. If they do a PS4 Version of the old Series i would love to see a remastered Version of GoW 3 because this Game has the most Epicness, the most brutality in my life and it has such an amazing Story.
